Which is best

Todays daily Exchange rate is published below, you should try and achieve close as possible or even better this rate.

There are 3 answers here

  1. Do you want Value then use anyone of a number of bank cards and use in a bank lobby, you will get best rates in an secure location. Personally I use Wise, but also Monzo, Starling or Revolut also offer very attractive and very similar rates. The downside to this is that you would need to travel to a bank not always on your doorstep. Fees will be well documented but very low compared to others.

  2. Or Convenience then its your local exchange shop or even hotel, which may say No Fees, but that's because it's an inclusive price. If its higher than above then fees etc included. On £1000 you could lose out on 100 euros.

  3. There is always Cash with £ exchanged in the Uk, just again be aware of the rate above its a target to achieve, but carrying large amounts of cash holds its own security problems.

  4. Worse value would be the street machine's which apart from being less secure, can have added machine provider fees. In my opinion do not use.
