Dave Roughley - The guy that thought Alcudia summer fun would be a good idea...
Lynsey, myself and our family have been regular visitors to Alcudia or Pto d' Alcudia for the past four years. Personally, I have coming back since 1997. In 2001 after getting divorced I decided to move here. I lived in the old town and worked in car hire. I loved it. Living in Mallorca is hard work with early mornings and late evenings and of course 7 day weeks. Please remember this if your G&T takes 3 minutes to be served. Old Alcudians are drawn back year after year. It's a bug that gets into your blood and won't let go. You don't need a fortune to holiday here. A 3 course meal costs as little as €8.50 and goes up to whatever you're willing to pay. Days spent on the beautiful beach with its shallow gentle waters are a great way to fill your days. Happy holidays.

We came to alcudia 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with the place ! We'd actually just checked into viva sunrise when i got the call to say i'd been chosen to do ' come dine with me', so i spent them 2 weeks bricking meself !! Met our friends for life on that first visit and have met up with them everytime since . We never get bored of alcudia, absolutely love checking out new bars and restraunts, love going to the port and old town , i honetly can't ever imagine any year that we don't visit !!
Colin Groves - The only way is Sun Sea Sangria
I first started visiting Majorca in 2005 when offered a cheap week away by a friend who owned an apartment in Siesta1, for many years I had been going to Ibiza with the odd breaks to a few other destinations. Well I got hooked just like Ibiza but greener and then cheaper.

Well I loved it so much that 2 years later instead of paying the mortgage off I purchase my own studio apartment 507. Had it all refurbished then, and now its just been refurbished again. It has its own facebook page - siesta1 apartment 507.

I go out to the the land of Sun Sea Sangria at least twice a year June 3 weeks and then September 2 weeks, plus a week in late April if I can.

As for me I,m now retired sort of, but do like to keep up with things especially tech stuff, so never far away from my mobile/tablet as I wheel and deal. My current place to be found while in Alcudia is Legends bar late into the evening so if you you fancy a chat and a beer see you there.

I do like to travel the Island and for me car hire is a must. For the cost of a taxi fare fro the airport to siesta1 you can hire a car (panda) for at least 3 days. So much more to see on the island.

This is now my 2nd home and always on the lookout for something a little bigger, villa on the beach bar very close by that sort of thing....

Myself, along with Dave and our 2 daughters (6 & 16) have been to Alcudia every Summer since 2014 - with my Mum joining us twice in 2014 and 2016 - and again this year!
Me, Dave and our youngest had a few days there in October 2015 as well.
I absolutely fell in love with Alcudia from the second we got there.
My favourite part is definitely the Old Town, especially on Tuesdays and Sundays when the local market is held. You are spoiled for choice - from apples to table cloths and everything in between!
What started off as a holiday destination has now become our second home and the owners and waiting staff of our favourite restaurants have become firm friends and treat us like family.
Roll on July!!🛫
