June - 2016

Its June and my first visit of this year to my 2nd home, the land of sun sea sangria for 2 whole weeks.

5 years ago Alcudia was suffering as the economy and tourist numbers fell. I am happy to report as the numbers return life again is returning especially to the end of the avenue with new businesses and bars opening up. So here's looking forward.

But with all things in life, things change, the referendum. We are OUT...

Not something I expected, and the fallout is at best going to be unexpected. It worries me that those in the out camp don't seem to have any idea of the issues ahead. Its only money they tell me, but its money that feeds us all, its money that's pays our pensions. To me its the over 60's that have most to loose, Pension funds being hit. income to the government from business taxes being hit. Lets hope I'm wrong.

The country if it does not politically fall apart will recover, as will I. Its just not sure exactly when..... May be a long wait.

Again it is only my thoughts but Britain has lost its Great, will it be Great again yes, but maybe not in my lifetime......

Ist quarter down 5.48% - China and Brexit

2nd quarter down 1.43% - Brexit, late rally last week.

Not one of my better years, but with good planning I am in a good position to take advantage of Brexit. So plenty to catch up on.

Into the 3rd quarter lets make some money ££££££
