The EU exit or not....

OK seems to me 2 camps. The immigration camp and the economy camp.

When actually we need both. Why are they separate. So much miss information at present or at least just presenting single facts which while on there own are correct need to be viewed as part of the bigger wider picture.

Personally to be out does sound very attractive and I have no doubt Britain would not only survive but grow but its going to take 10 maybe 20 years as we lose ground and fall behind the likes of Germany and France. Economically UK companies are already suffering from this un-favorable climate. Companies that deal with the EU are suffering as they fail to secure financial backing for the future. Companies will fail, jobs will be lost purely because of this self inflicted crisis.

Of course there are going to be winners, those companies that trade out of the EU are laughing as are those that are able take advantage of the situation, those with money. As they can sell funds before the advent and buy back after. Make loads £££ for doing very little.

The losers will be those in retirement the over 60's who cannot wait for the economy to return. Pension funds will be hit in future years as low returns from investments cut both government pensions and private pensions. As will low rate so called safe investment funds. The so called triple lock for uk gov pensioners could also be under threat as the gov will struggle as business and private tax income falls.

As a pensioner I find this very concerning. Brexit is robing Peter to pay Paul. A modern day Robin Hood. May seem like a good idea but in robing Peter and it is Peter that pays the bills, Paul may not have the means too for many years.

It is the top 100 companies (Peter) that are going to be most affected by Brexit, they also employ a lot of people and also have the biggest pension funds seems odd that we are even thinking about disadvantaging them.....

I want England to be Great, it was great, it is still great, but somehow I doubt it will be again in my lifetime.

Staying in is my option as I see no other way. Otherwise we will have a generation of pensioners being cared for financially by their children....

Enough said..............................
