December, wow what a year don't know about you but certainly a year where the unexpected happened. But still here life continues all kind of sorted. Just goes to show you never know when the unexpected is going to happen...

Another unexpected event was Brexit do not think Mr Cameron saw that one coming... Certainly had an effect on the International investment arm of Colin, but losses up to and including 2rd quarter where reversed in the 3rd 0.77% growth but the 4th quarter 10.56% giving 5.09% overall for the year. Not bad but must do better.

Remember this from November when I commented about oil stock.......

These have been depressed over the past few months as oil prices tumble but there is always a point where a reversal will take place. So take the plunge, for a risky punt ENQUEST its running out of money but has large untapped oil reserves just waiting to go online. A re-financing is due and if this goes ahead and gets investors approval cound be a winner.

Well this turned out to be an earner up from 11p to 41p and maybe hopefully more to go at least 50p. So is it too late ermmmm.....

Looking ahead to 2017 now especially getting back to Alcudia. Plans for this fell apart in 2016 but back on track for 2017 with visits planned for 2017.... 1 week in April, 3 in June and finally 2 in September. Be good to get back in the land of Sun Sea Sangria
