Its October waiting for the first of the real frosts that bring the golden leaves tumbling down....

Hopefully maybe the garden will start soon, as at present its returning to its wild self.... I have my first quote oh so cheap (NOT), but gonna look good.

The markets have not been good, biggest loses (paper) ever, Brexit takes its toll, as companies really dont know the road ahead. Have always said when the road ahead is un-clear companies will suffer, how can they plan.

In fact not a good month Brexit wise as companies begin to stuggle with finding a way forward. How can you plan if you dont know the goal posts. My personal investments have seen the biggest fall since I began investing in the stock market, its just been a year of down down down.... The past 4 weeks have been dire. The only way is up. Do have concerns for smaller businesses that trade in the EU, they are suffering thru no fault of there own, I hope those that voted yes, realised the impact.

Locally the Greyhound shuts again, the rents are far too high, needs to re-establish itself in a smaller market, requires 2 years, peppercorn rent and then a rent that allows for the Greyhound to continue. The resturaunt needs to be the focus, build on that and the customers will return. Its a large pub in a small village. Latest open again new landlady...… Not sure how this time going to succeed?

Not been a good month for Majorca as the rains hit and hit hard, its never been a place that can deal with rain. I can remember driving thru a road that become a river, my little seat was almost swept away, was scary at the time.

Well thats it onto November....

Colin
