Slight change of format now diaryised..

6th April it's now summer time, flowers trees are all starting all over again just a little bigger.

15th April The sun is out life is quite enjoying. Plenty to do, the new office is coming along, IT installed the solar power working well, just need a WiFi upgrade as signal not that good. More an issue with PC so usb 5g wifi adapter ordered... What would I do without Amazon and my supplier in China.

Continue to work, even extra nights so quite on drive home often just me, a deer and few other critters.... Oh and a police car, got stopped as they enquired why out at 4am. Another benefit i'm spending less far less have money to spare, well did been converted into plants and a few beers.... My meetings now video calls actually which I find better, no more struggle to hear would like to keep this for the future.

One thing about this stay at home, it has made me appreciate home life more, the thought of sitting anywhere like sardines in a can now means more. Life is good life is here in the comfort of home...

19th April driving home and not a single car or lorry on the road spooky.

26th April There are many sorts of Holiday, from staying at home to a worldwide cruise, if you can afford it. Destinations in the future are going to be more expensive in many ways in the wake of this virus. Do you really want any more to be packed on a plane, sitting uncomfortably close to anyone (other than family).

This all started with maybe, a single person travelling abroad, Do you want to be that one? Travel is going to change, it has to change. On arrival at airport, temperature tested before boarding, no second chance fail and boarding refused. Bad enough if travelling on your own but with a family?

We will all be travelling Business class ok an ecomony version of it, so more spread out. Cost will increase as insurance plus inoculation card will be required. Maybe temp tested at destination as well.

Stay at home is the term now, why not for holidays. Ok if sun sea sangria is you holiday style the a week on the beach in Scarborough is not the same.... But until some sort of answer is found do not see the alternative.....

Will I miss Majorca oh yes.....For me Its all been about the Island not Alcudia, like finding new, like to find new, But it will always be there, maybe not as we know it, but it will...

27th April There are some points good about this lockdown and that's the total lack of silent calls and sales calls from anyone, not even had a scam call.... Now that's a result....

28th April I find I odd and very wrong that some are booking holidays before being welcomed back. At present in the UK it's no travel now and for the foreseeable future. In Spain it's the same. I find it odd that some are expecting life to return as normal and you arrive and you are shown that the only way forward is back to where you came from. Wait to be welcomed back, don't just expect the door to be open when you arrive...
