Its August....
Life is all about living for the moment, enjoying the moment, remembering the last and looking forward to the next. In life I've been a glass half empty person, looking to change looking to move on, take that challenge, always wanting to get a refill. In later years more a half full, accepting what is will be, if I get a refill accepting it with thanks. Now just happy to be able to still hold that glass.
Ok its hot, would seem once again the media feels that we need to be told this, each and every day... Why, nanny state again.
Life continues regardless maybe should have a countdown clock on my end of day's they seem to be the in thing at present. Yes, it's an old line, enjoy life don't count them.
And why do some need to Facebook their entire life story, come on, I don't need to know, I post mine monthly and that's enough to bore you all, if i did it daily, would have even less friends.
Life At.............................. My quick overview
Life at 21.
All is simple, go to work earn money, spend it, have fun. The future is the future do you really care, but if you do its time to get out and shout about it. Glass half empty time as always can get a refill.
Life at 31.
Not quite as simple married with kids, responsibilities, planning begins, savings, larger purchases (house) and debt. But its ok, plenty of years to go.
Life at 41.
You have your chosen path, job for life, pensions (final salary) what can go wrong. Life is work and play, albeit more work than play.
Life a 51.
Redundancy, but its ok nice pay out enables an easier lifestyle. Still plenty of time to do all those things in life such as buy apartment in Majorca. Glass half full now, hopefully can get a refill at some point.
Life at 61.
For the first time it begins to dawn, life isn't or ever. Another redundancy helps the coffers' Am I over the hill nope not me.
Life at 71.
Over the hill and both feeling that that the body is no longer 21, slow up, but the brain says no more keep going. The glass no longer is half full, just glad can still hold one.
Phew its been hot, now I don't normally suffer from the heat but it's really been too much at times. Not just hot it's the humidity that gets to me. Sleep, oh forget that, but on the plus side so glad still at work, working amongst the chillers at ASDA at last cool.
The Honda gets a new MOT, doing better than me, at least on a car parts can be replaced, I so need that.
