Its August its time to warm up, time for a bit of Summer.

My retirement looms, the final step on the ladder of life, no more booking holidays at work, which as I see the only benefit, but also more time for the Poppy Appeal which does seem to be taking over. Have just spent £15000 on poppy products, but do like ordering, get to checkout and get 100% discount, that's the way to do it.... Now if only Amazon was the same.

booking holidays for next year, so have April, June and now September (Gunton Hall) covered, oh but why why why do I get a countdown clock sent to me, I know when I'm going it's in my diary its just more Spam. Grrrrr

Warner Leisure or Potters so what's the difference. If you want a single location, all inclusive then potters it is, shows are very good (West end maybe) but if you want historic something different then Warner leisure, food the same (ish) but no late night snack's and its cheaper, with no inclusive beers etc. Show's can be very good but maybe on balance potters better, but more individual acts first timers. Potters is is not cheap but with the breakaway club that's the way to go. I do like them both, but also there is more to life than just these.

In the past weeks a friend Passed after only discovering not well few weeks ago after getting a toothache investigated, and have another who almost over night fell victim to Alzheimer and now in a home. Life when older is so un-predictable.

August is a Car month, MOT tax insurance, and what with a few other expenses this month, need more money (Don't we all). The bills keep rolling in, as the cash keeps rolling out.

Also been a month of Plans being thrown in the air as others complicate life, gone from being ahead to need to catch up.
