Its February cold wet windy do not like. Its been a month of bad news, with others not waking and making me realise life is not forever.
So far this year have had the normal for me, cold virus which has been hanging on and on. Even now find it difficult to function for any length of time before getting tired, or maybe its just an old age thing.
Off to Potters (Hopton-on-Sea) and now joined as a friend to get the last minute deals. Life in retirement is still one ongoing, like the freedom but don't like the lack of structure, keep forgetting what day it is...

Day1. Bit of a wet miserable day but got a nice room and it's born in the USA in the theatre. Usual excellent performance, but spoilt by the constant talking loudly if others no consideration. Arghh
Day 2. The sun is back and it's a night of variety in the Theatre.
Day 3. Simply the best, and it was the best evening entertainment. Yes up to west end standard just still some chat during performance.
Day 4. Home
Food has been good, but not spectacular it's what you would expect at a 3 star venue. Certainly lots more than you really need for a healthy lifestyle.
On a separate note the K6 refurb is coming along and have funding for stage 1, which hopefully will be completed this year.

The frame now cleaned, but have all the glass and frames to clean and there are a lot of them. Small x48 Large x24 such a pain to clean. This takes me back to days of old at the GPO my first job a linesman looking after phone boxes.
Theatre trip, Canterbury tales performed by Half Cut Theatre. Performed in a local church.
Food for thought.
As said earlier not good start to year, some whose clocks have been abruptly stopped, some after just a short illness does make you think. Those, like me, who have witnessed life over a longer period of time look at life with wider eyes and see life is a clock with an end time. Enjoy it, look forward to tomorrow remember today.
The head is a complicated thing full of not a lot but also full of everything, its all a chemical thing full of adrenaline cortisol dopamine serotonin. correct me if wrong but dopamine makes you happy, serotonin controls the happiness, adrenaline gives you a buzz when needed and cortisol is the guardian angle of all. When all in balance all ok, but if one takes control then not good.
Spring is just around the corner, the snowdrops are out the daffodils are blooming and trees are beginning to bud, maybe once again healthier times ahead.
