The cold wet damp windy months, but the blogs are back.....

Hi its been along time since I blogged so bit of a catch up as to where I am in life. Currently a Parish councillor, still working nights at ASDA, I fly drones and still enjoy all things Tech. Oh and now as from 23rd Jan I'm 71 years young. Plus in my life now have grandchildren Harry, Peter and Isla.

So here is the news, first do not like this time of year, its cold wet windy and after the Christmas fun all seems rather soul less. But its my birthday month so that's to look forward too, but it comes and goes 70 becomes 71 and life becomes all a bit time limited and I become just a little more the grumpy old man. As its my birthday I have a week off, and actually the weather was kind was able to get into the garden and do a winter tidy.

Garden wise time for yearly sort the long grasses at the back don't work they fall over look untidy have to go, going to replace with a long high level planter with water feature. Well that's the plan and the grasses have now been removed. My cloud tree which cost far too much has died due to ground being very wet (I think). The garden has a sump now where the pond used to be, and due to the heavy rain of 2021 its just a very wet part of the garden.

In the news well its still Covid, give it a rest, get on with life. Life is not perfect and now Ukraine and Russia hits the news. Where has all the good news gone.

As for shares not making vast amounts of profit actually none at all. After recovering from Brexit blues Covid came and knocked all back. Maybe just maybe if war doesn't break out this will be the year of recovery.
