Its that time of year...
Its my birthday month and I will be even older, 21 plus a few I say. Old old old. but still enjoying life, Hopefully for a few more years.
Covid Flu Cold etc etc. Are they not all illnesses, why do some insist on treating covid any different, why if you are ill do you need to test, would you carry on and go to work if felt unwell. I really do not understand the mentality in treating any different.
If you where invited to join a club that offered discounts etc all for £1 a month but actually only gave 75p would you continue. That's what belonging to the EU means. Its no benefit, its a cost. better off out. Or am I missing something? Yes out has disadvantaged some, but others have found new ways. The world is bigger than the EU.
Do you, well I do, I appreciate what the UK has, it may not have the sun sea sangria but it has the NHS and its been there for me. Also I'm lucky in that I also have a reasonable pension not big by any standard. But enough to last out my days.
Such a cold month, as you get colder the cold just seems colder, so turn the heating up. Well in the past that was not a problem, used to have it on all day. Now not so, will costs come down I don't think so, will need to wait for my pensions to rise...
