Not been good year health wise, first my leg gets Cellulitis and looked not good for a time but has repaired almost as new. But now after blood test get a call for an MRI scan. Waiting to see what's next.

Not good timing but wife away at same time, so home alone, and don't like it. May seem like good idea but it's not, too quiet. The only good thing is I can divorce myself from the news, I don't need 24/7. Read it once at that's it, I have my own views on all and no one is going to change them. Don't need discussion as I am right OK.

Getting on in life countdown calendar's really make me think, do others really just enjoy those 2 weeks', am I lucky to enjoy each and every day and have done for most of my life. All should concentrate on making each day special, each day a moment in life. I can tell you, there will come a point you will wish you had more days not less.

I suppose I have a lot in life to keep me busy, job being a Parish Councilor, web sites and of course Alcudia Summer Fun even if does wind me up at times. Keep busy oh and make sure the local office has a large table that you can use for all business purposes. Works for me.

Update on scan, cancer scare, all ok phew. Just need yearly checks all part of being over the hill as they say, but full marks to the NHS first for picking it up, quick response from hospital and quick diagnosis. Thankyou.

Busy doing garden on update 3 now, have installed a rather large planter, with 3 trees' ok small ornamental Acers, to replace my expensive cloud tree that I killed with accidental over watering. Hopefully will not repeat that.

Alcudia 2022

The 22 season is over for me and home again. Alcudia was both a great place to be and a disappointment. Its great if you stay away from the street with its uneven pavements overflowing rubbish, broken glass and dogs mess, where were the late-night rubbish collections? Poor state of repair will not attract the tourists.

Plus needs to be more European less British, needs to cater for tourist of the day not those from the history books. Other areas have done this Cala Ratjard is at present, the port has had an upgrade and Porta Pollensa had an upgrade few years ago as did Cal Picafort. So, it can be done.

I do love Majorca, I like the way it caters for all, its greener than some and I will be back.

And another thing why why why do we have, constant updates on the new prime minister and live on tv debates. The public in general have no say in this, it's getting boring. YAWN
