Its June it's that time again back to Alcudia and for 18 day's. Yes back to the land of Sun Sea Sangria only a little less Sun little more grey and little more chill.

I always try to do a different restaurant each evening and managed almost to do that, well there are a few that need going to twice.

The weather was not its best and never settled into its normal end of June heat, but at least the evenings where cool which was far better to sleep in.

As much as I do love Alcudia it would not be a place for me to retire too, or even longer term stay, yes the sun, the heat the lack of rain is so good, but family is not here nor is the NHS, plus would get so bored. You can only go to even Legends so many times. A plus point is don't suffer from asthma (less pollen apparently). Happy place is at home, Summer break is in Alcudia, to be enjoyed while it lasts. But will say as away from home away from the aches and pains of home life my asthma does disappear.

Back home and the British weather continues to be wet grey damp.

Its Election time here we go again, more promises more talk more headline news, in fact in the real world nothing will actually change, it never does. Just a see saw of events.

Rushi was dealt an impossible hand, starting with Boris and his Number 10 redecoration, spending thousands at public expense and the fact no party has ever gone 4 terms, the party gate goings on oh bring back Margaret.

We will wait and see.

As you get older time becomes a limited resource which can run out at any time. Said this before many times, do not count days enjoy each one, make them count.

Seem at present to be under Dr's orders, need to cut down beers to 6 pints a week, WHAT help. Every test is borderline, need to do this and do that and cut the out.... HELP

A good point is my eyes are getting better, but can I use my old glasses NO another pair.

Would seem this year had 42 days on holiday, why it doesn't seem so, that's the issue with holidays, you look forward to them, they arrive they finish, and back to the old ways.
