Another wet and windy one, with forecasters saying "its going to snow" well it hasn't well not down south. Bad news this month is my car hire company in Alcudia, Coches Fabiloa, have sold out (taken over) by Vanrells. Not good for me, not good for the renter with higher prices, and no personal contact and 100% upfront costs. The search is on for a company user friendly.

First holiday of 23 and its a back to Potters month, this time 5 Lakes, a new location both for me and Potters, they purchased the 5 Lakes Golf course and converted it to a Potters Leisure site. 5 Lakes very good but lacks a heart and soul, which will only come in time. At present prefer Hopton, but I will be back here in a couple of years, for now (2024) its back to Hopton.

Have Eastbourne in April, Cornwall in May, then back to Alcudia but need to get that booked.

Potters 5 Lakeside is much the same as Hopton, but lacks the seaside connection. The village rooms are bigger than some but bland and filled with totally functional but brown furniture. So needs a picture or 2 on the walls. It does lack the history of Hopton, all new staff etc. But it's ok food is good, plenty of it, breakfast, lunch, dinner and late evening (midnight) meal, and big plus point is, the beers are included, but not really free as these are paid for via the increased cost compared to Warner Leisure.

My next garden mod is coming along, a bit of decking for another raised flower, or in this case pot bed, and its now complete. Summer flowering bulbs on order.
