Its Garden refresh time, the cloud tree is dead and needs replacing. Have built a new raised bed at back of garden to replace tall grass which didn't work out now need plan for the ex-cloud tree, thinking of a raised bed with rockery....

Beginning the planning for the Poppy Appeal 22, stock wise. Last year with little in the way of records was a make it up as you go appeal plus started in September. This year plan more and have taken on more. We raised at the appeal £10552, not bad for a first timer, the year ends Sept so still a little time to add to the total.

I suppose for the first time in life the body is beginning to say slow down, in life its evening time, enjoy the sunsets. Oh how I do not like life timers countdown clocks etc, why count your days away. And another thing why do people not read any more or even write own thoughts, the need to copy and paste, reply with a gif (WHY). Spend time on Facebook moaning but actually doing nothing.

At the parish elections 19 seats, so plenty for the moaners, 12 applied including me, none of the Facebook moaners. Happy to spend hours moaning but not interested in actually doing something..... Oh now I'm moaning.... Think I need some chill time, office then.

Out and about still enjoy the Zoom Zoom of the Rx8, its 20 years since I purchased new, shame the crome alloys have gone, due the the cold British weather, the crome fell off every January, Mazda got fed up replacing them...

Perhaps this is a me thing, I enjoy life, I enjoy each day, I look forward to adventures just as much as I am grateful to wake up in the morning. Life is short, life should be enjoyed, life is not about countdown clocks, as I say (boring) don't count the days make them count....

And it's adventure time again off to the Peak District for few days... Bring me sunshine.

Day 1 - Sunday

Uneventful travel to our hotel via a stop off at Lincoln only to find it's a Mercure hotel, last time stayed in one of those was a disaster. Already service not good, long wait at bar. Dinner service not good either, oh well here we go again. On the plus side room good, and not tucked away down this and that coridoor, close to bar a result if can get served

Day 2 - Monday

Chesterfield Market - Chatsworth house well worth a visit

Day 3 - Tuesday

Buxton - hmmm until I found the Dinosaurs in the park bit like any other town, shops (high Street) but the 🦕 where great.

Day 4 - Wednesday

National trust Hardwick hall - The hall was interesting but no grounds just open spaces

Renishaw house - A lived in house which had loads of history and the grounds where something else.

Day 5 - Thursday - Home

Its one thing Alcudia doesn't have the History the green field's.

Well that's it

On to the next month
