It's that time again...
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
Yes, it's poppy time, this year have added Duxford to the area I'm covering. Back room becoming a poppy warehouse. Shortage of 22 pins is a problem, need more.
Remembrance Day and after the past couple of years a full parade to be enjoyed by all.
Here is the youtube link so you can enjoy. It was good, well stagged Sawston Rbl.
Still editing the Jubilee video but should be live soon. Next year will have the coronation so can do it all again.
You don't realise how heavy money is, £1000 in £1 coins is heavy and this have plenty to transport to the post office to be banked. I do apologise to those I held up as I counted the pounds in.
Having bit of a "oh another thing doesn't work" week. Xbox's failing on update, lights not working, and a wall heater decided to stop heating. £350 to replace, but after chatting to makers got new one for £135, result, almost after taking old apart found a switch had failed. £2.50 to replace.
November and not a frost yet, well I suppose that's good, trees full of autumn colour, certainly one of the best for years and still full of leaves, for now. Also good for keeping the heating costs down.
As you get older you begin the realise the meaning of life, just how important it is live your short time you have on this planet, it doesn't last for ever. Not one of my better years after enjoying a healthier life than some it's fallen apart this year with my leg and of late in growing eyelash. Leg sort of sorted now and after short operation eye too. No more please, very grateful can see again without the curtain of water I had before as the right one was constantly watering.
Oh, I know it's me, but countdown timers so annoy me, enjoy life enjoy the moment.
The end
Colin
