Its November the leaves are falling, Firework night in the village, which I missed staying in the warmth.

And its poppy appeal time and this year a target of £25000 which may be a tall order given the issues with my health. But where there's a will there is a way, 198 collecting box's out, managed ASDA and Tesco's albeit not so many days a good team effort. Now just got to get it counted.

As for myself its amazing how the body repairs it self all battle wounds now all most healed just one being a bit obstinate and apart from getting tired all Ok. Now waiting for any follow up treatment.

One step forward and now back, I've now got a flu like virus which has laid me out affecting most of all my asthma so breathing is now somewhat difficult. I've had my post op visit back to Addenbrookes and all seems good as far as the Cancer goes just down to one kidney. Was offered further preventitive treatment but as this could cause me other issues and due to still recovering now on a 6 month check up.

Not been good last few months but could have been worse, good that in January at my Long Term medical check up an oddity was picked up from blood tests and acted upon resulting in scans which high lighted the problem.

But all this does make you think, life is not for ever you may feel ok as I did but underneath all may not be as it should.

Latest on the Poppy appeal is Pledged monies £22500 just got to get it all collected and banked.
