Now have date for operation 22nd Oct to remove a sinister inclusion on a kidney. Actually will remove the kidney so will be down to one. Been advised need to give up Kick-boxing rugby and Bungy jumping such a shame other than that should be OK.

22nd Oct it's the day a case of in chop and out, but not quite that simple as remaining kidney takes a hit. So into intensive care for the day.

As for the operation all went well, in on the Tuesday 7am (Yawn) out on Friday (Midday) and by the Monday out and about again albeit slowly. Did wake after operation in intensive care as remaining kidney needed a little support to get working, but out of intensive the following day and onto a ward, would have been discharged a day earlier but for this.

Amazing how the body heals after main wound being glued together and 3 further wounds stitched, not much in the way of pain but some discomfort especially when having a cough.

Now have to wait for the findings on the sinister inclusion and what if any further treatment is required.
